REMAKE was a three-episode series produced by VICE Brasil in collaboration with Petrobras and hosted by Rita Wu, exploring the curiosity and inventiveness of Brazil’s maker scene.

Art direction
This commissioned project for VICE Brasil focused on art direction for REMAKE. Each episode featured creators who transformed ordinary materials into ingenious new inventions.
Based on keywords such as creativity, technology, and reinterpretation, I developed three visual directions: Tape Art, inspired by DIY culture and street expression; Conductors, rooted in technology and the flow of energy; and Retrofuturism, combining nostalgia with futuristic aesthetics.
VICE’s São Paulo team selected the Tape Art direction, bringing the identity to life by creating the logo and typography using real tape, resulting in a playful, tactile look.
I also art-directed the key visual for promotional materials. Shot in a workshop with tools as props, the image captured the maker spirit while leaving space for flexible use across formats.
